Obituary

Rose-Anne Gurney, 62, of Naples, passed away on December 27, 2021 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Portland on March 14, 1959 to Malcolm and Marilyn (Clarke) Kelley. Rose-Anne, or "Otis" as she was affectionately called by family, was a woman of many talents. She was very handy and could often be found working on cars or snowmobiles. A family oriented person, she loved family get-togethers and spending time with those she loved. She loved watching car races, snowmobiling, and roller-skating with her siblings. Rose-Anne worked as a school bus driver for 16 years with Windham Public Schools. She absolutely adored the kids on her bus like they were her own family. Even after her retirement just two years ago, the kids still sent her Christmas cards and gifts. She is survived by her son Michael Kelley, step-son Paul Gurney and his wife Candy, brothers Keith and Danny Kelley, sisters Diane Kelley, Lori Rogers, and Donna Wardwell, grandson Devin Gurney, several nieces and nephews including great-nieces Madison and Ember and great-nephew Ryan, and her beloved Shepherd mix, Sammy. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Francis "Larry" Gurney in 2017, her son's father Orion Moore in 1989, and brothers Dennis and Shaun Kelley.
