Richard G. Hutchins, 60, of Buxton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 1, 2014. He was born in Portland, the son of Charles and Blanche (Copp) Hutchins.  He graduated from Cumberland High School in 1972.  Dick worked for the Reece Corporation in Gorham for 10 years.  He later took a job at Fedex, where he has been employed for 31 years, 22 of those years as a courier. He was a member of St. Anne's Church in Gorham. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating, and his most precious was time spent with his family. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Claire (Marier) Hutchins of Buxton; his sons Shawn and his wife Melissa Hutchins of Buxton, and Greg and his wife Danielle Hutchins of Denver, CO; his mother-in-law Gisele Marier of Westbrook; his much loved bulldog Princess; his brothers Charles Larry Hutchins of South Portland, Danny Hutchins of Virginia; his sister Susan Hutchins Bowker of Yarmouth; six fur grandkids;and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated @ 10 AM Saturday at St. Anne's Church in Gorham.  A reception will follow in the church hall immediately after the mass.  On line condolences may be expressed at blaisandhayfuneralhome.com.
