Lucille B. Aucoin, 89, of Chestnut St., Westbrook, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Mercy Hospital in Portland. A life-long resident of Westbrook, she was born here the daughter of Wilfred and Antoinette (Lenneville) Boulanger. Lucille attended Westbrook schools and worked at S.D. Warren until November 29, 1947, when she married her beloved husband Roger J. "Wedge" Aucoin. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she enjoyed doing things for her grandchildren. She was a very active member of the U.S.O during World War II. Lucille enjoyed traveling, especially to her favorite spots in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Stowe, VT, and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Lucille was predeceased by her husband Roger. She is survived by her daughter Priscilla and husband Walter Kwiecien of Toms River, NJ; sons Donald and wife Jane Aucoin of Scarborough, Dennis Aucoin of Westbrook; 3 grandchildren, Samantha Aucoin of Westbrook, Michael Aucoin of Biddeford and Erick Kwiecien of Milbrae, CA; a brother Roger Boulandger and his wife Florence; and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held from 6 to 8 PM Monday at the Blais & Hay Funeral Home 35 Church St. Westbrook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday at St. Anthony's Church, Westbrook. Interment will follow in St. Hyacinth Cemetery.
