Johanne Drouin Bain, 74, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14th in Brunswick, Maine, after an illness lasting several years.   Born on October 10, 1938, in Biddeford, Maine, she was the daughter of Emile and Irene (Richard) Drouin.  She attended Cathedral High School and went to Gray Business School.  Johanne was married to Frank Bain, who predeceased her in 2005.   She worked as an office manager at the Opportunity Farm for Boys in New Gloucester, Maine, and retired seven years ago from AAA in Portland, Maine.  She resided in Freeport, Maine for twelve years and was active at St. Jude's Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family and friends, taking drives along the Maine coast, traveling and was an avid reader.  A special memory for her was a recent trip to Quebec, Canada with her daughter Valerie to learn more about her heritage.   She is survived by her children: Allyson (Russ) Lieder of Greenland, NH; Allyn Bain of Skowhegan, ME; Karen Bain of the Bronx, NY; Mitzy MacBane of Gray, ME; Valerie (John) Edmons of Clearwater, FL and Jonathan (Mia) Bain of Falmouth, ME; her grandchildren: Ashley Flanagin of Newmarket, NH; Derrick Flanagin of Brighton, MA and Natalie Bain of Falmouth, ME.  She is also survived by her brother, Raymond (Judy) Drouin of Palm Bay, FL, her sister, Carolyn (Bill) Milligan of Savannah, GA, her aunt, Yvonne Ballantine of Westbrook, ME and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She is predeceased by her twin sister, June Mathiot.   The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Parish in Westbrook, ME, on Friday, September 20th at 11:00 AM.
