Janet Norma Elliott, 84, of Raymond, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025, surrounded by her family at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. Born in Portland to Charles and Ada (Hutchinson) Ridlon, Janet was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Robert Elliott. She retired from L.L. Bean in Freeport after many years of dedicated service and cherished her time with family, friends, and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, David Merrill (Pamela), Richard Merrill (Jacqueline), and Kimberly Tripp; her brothers, Alvin Ridlon (Carol) and Norman Ridlon (Sandra); several grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 12–4 p.m. at the Ocean Star Banquet Room, 33 Allen Ave, Portland, Maine.
