Obituary

Irma Elaine Mullen, 96, of Portland, passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 23, 2015 at the Barron Center. She was born and raised in Eastport, graduating from Shead Memorial High School in 1936. She worked as a bookkeeper at Hazelton's Equipment in Cumberland for 26 years before retiring. Irma found great joy in spending time with her family. She enjoyed making crafts and sharing them for the holidays. She was predeceased by her first husband Raye Davis Bishop, her second husband Francis Mullen, and her son John Raye Bishop. Irma is survived by her daughters Patricia and husband Ted Lane of Portland, and Barbara Blais of Westbrook; her daughter-in-law Nancy Bishop of Florida; grandchildren Ted Lane Jr., John Lane and wife Krissy, Joe Reynolds, Shaun Reynolds, Sarah Lori Blais, Brinn Romagnuolo, and Jody Bishop; great grandchildren Nicholas Lane, Noah and Evan Romagnuolo; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
