Elsie M. Cleaves, of Falmouth, Maine was peacefully called home to our Lord, Sunday, March 28, 2021, surrounded by her loving family and devoted husband at her home. Born December 29, 1948 in Gorham, Maine to Bertha and Philip Riley and attended local schools. Her devotion to family began at a very early age upon the passing of her father, she needed to help her mom raise her siblings Philip JR, Diane and Thomas. Elsie left high school and started a new chapter of her life, on July 17, 1965 she married Fredrick Cummings; and together for 25 years they raised four children of their own. On November 22, 1991 she married Charles (Buddy) Daggett, Jr. and moved back to Gorham and enjoyed her new additional family and loved each one as her own. Charles passed in 2012, this left a very large hole in her life, but her loving family came together as families do and helped her through a very difficult time. On July 8, 2015 she married Freeman Cleaves, Jr. of Falmouth, Maine and once again expanded her family. Every one of her children and grandchildren were very dear and special to her. She would light up a room with their loving smile and open arms. Elsie is predeceased by her father Philip, mother Bertha, brother Philip Jr. and sister Diane.
