Charles Augustus DeRoche Sr, Gray ME, 91, passed away peacefully at his home in Gray. He was born July 5th, 1932, to Mildred M. Brow. Charles joined the U.S. Army in 1952 during the Korea War. After his Honorable Discharge, Charles went to work for S. D. Warren where he retired after 40 years of service. In addition to his parent, he was predeceased by his sons, Charles DeRoche Jr & Todd DeRoche and his brother, Frank DeRoche. Surviving in addition to his beloved wife, Geraldine (Woods) DeRoche of Gray, is his daughter, Susan Haskell of Westbrook, his step-sons, Norman Woods Jr (Terressa) of Limerick & Llewellyn Wayne Woods of Stacyville and his step-daughter, Sharon Getchell (Matthew)of Zephyrhills FL; along with many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Charles was a loving husband, father and brother, loved by so many who will miss him dearly. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 27th, 2024 with military honors, at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Westbrook.
