Westbrook, Barbara Ann Palmer, 80, of Lamb St., Westbrook, passed away Monday, July 3, at the Barron Center. A lifelong resident of Westbrook, she was born here, the daughter of Theodore and Ella (Miller) Cote. Barbara worked for Fairchild for several years and then for Data General until her retirement. She was married to William Palmer and they enjoyed 61 years of marriage. They enjoyed square dancing and ballroom dancing together. They also enjoyed traveling to many destinations throughout the years. Barbara was very talented playing the organ. She played for Starbird Music and was chosen to do the Outreach Program, playing for various events. She is survived by her husband William of Westbrook; brothers Royden Cote and Theodore Cote Jr; and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be from 11 AM to 1 PM Monday, July 10, at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook, followed by a funeral service at 1 PM. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
