Annie Estelle McAlpine Ann McAlpine died Unexpectedly at her home in Westbrook on 12/23/2023. She was born February 25th 1932 in Rockland, Massachusetts and 2 weeks later moved to Maine. She Attended Portland High School and fell in Love and Got Married to Albert James McAlpine Sr of Ashland, ME, on May 10th 1957 Whom became the Love of her Life for 33 years together, now 23 years there after they join hands once again. She was a Life Long Member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, she was active in the Westbrook Senior Citizens and Volunteered to be one of the Trip Coordinator's who arranged and executed many trips for the Westbrook Senior Citizens. They took many trips from Alaska, Hawaii, PEI to Europe, One of her favorites was Graceland in Tennessee. She was a Active supporter of The True Fans of Elvis whom had fund raisers every year for Camp Sunshine, she belonged to the F&G Square Dancing Club for several years and on Voting day in Westbrook she was Proud to be a Voting Clerk, Volunteer at the Westbrook Community Center and Delivered for Meals on Wheels. She had met the Love of her Life and husband while working at Sebago Moc, She worked for FW Woolworths, WT Grants, as an Avon Consultant in Westbrook, a Receptionist at Attorneys Trust and at 1st ME Bank of NH, as a Nanny for 4 children in Southern Maine, and she helped her Son Albert at Burger King for several years as a lobby attendant. Pre deceased by Her Mother Hattie Geary, Father Charles Mank and Step Mother Grace Mank, 1st husband Francis Cady, 1/2 Brother Woody Verge, 1/2 Brother Enos Verge, 1/2 Sister Evelyn Moody, Step Sisters Pauline Files and Vera Cady. She is survived by her Daughter Donna Cady Leavitt and Husband Marlon now of Ocala FL, Her Son Albert McAlpine Jr and his wife Laurie of Westbrook, ME. Her Granddaughters Shelley McKone and husband Chris, Trisha Walker and husband Eric and her Grandson Shawn McAlpine better known as her little man. Four Great Grandsons Evan Leavitt, Corey McKone, Bailey Walker and Kyle McKone (KC). Three Great Great Grandchildren Aleiana Leavitt. Maelyn McKone and Liliana McKone and Several Nieces and Nephews Her immediate family carried on the Christmas Eve Tradition at her home in Westbrook that she loved so much and tho tears were allowed Annie in Spirit made us all Smile! She always put others 1st and made sure she was the last one on the Bus as she checked everyone had a seat and was taken care of. In lieu of Flowers Donations can be made at and sent to Camp Sunshine 35 Acadia Road Casco, Me 04015 A funeral service will be held at 12:00PM Friday December 29th at the Westbrook Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 35 Church Street, Westbrook. An hour of visitation will be held from 11AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Brooklawn Memorial Park 2002 Congress Street, Portland. No family gathering is planned after the Cemetery Service.
